Eye in the Sky LLC is a Connecticut-based commercial drone services company specializing in aerial documentation for construction, infrastructure, and property professionals.
We exist because the people who need aerial documentation the most (developers, general contractors, facility managers, homeowners) are usually working with one of two bad options: either a hobbyist with a drone and no insurance, or a national service company with corporate pricing and no local accountability.
We are the third option. Local, licensed, insured, and built around consistent recurring service. One person responsible for every flight, every deliverable, and every conversation.
Credentials and Equipment
FAA Part 107 Certified. Federally licensed for commercial small unmanned aircraft operations. All flights conducted in compliance with FAA regulations, including airspace coordination, controlled airspace authorizations, and required waivers where applicable.
Commercial Liability Insured. $1 million per occurrence, $2 million aggregate. Certificate of Insurance available within one business day of contract signing, with client named as additional insured on request.
DJI Air 3. Dual-camera system with 4K HDR capability, 70mm telephoto for inspection detail, wide-angle for site overview. Waypoint mission capability for consistent week-over-week capture on recurring engagements.
Service Area
Based in Oxford, Connecticut. Primary service area includes New Haven, Fairfield, Hartford, and Litchfield counties. Additional CT and Tri-State coverage available for recurring engagements or project-based scopes.
Why Local Matters
Construction sites change daily. Weather windows are narrow. Airspace coordination near Sikorsky, Tweed New Haven, Waterbury-Oxford, and Bradley requires familiarity with local controllers and procedures. National drone service companies subcontract these jobs to whoever is closest. We are already here.
